We are able to produce environmentally friendly plastic bags which are 100% degradable. Using EPI TDPA™ technology, our totally degradable plastic bags provide the same performance as non-degradable plastics however will degrade in a landfill site leaving no harmful residues.
Essentially, the product disintegrates and degrades through oxidation to low molecular weight fragments that ultimately biodegrade in the presence of oxygen, moisture and microbes to residues of carbon dioxide, water, humus (biomass) and mineral salts leaving no harmful residues. Alternatively it can be recycled prior to degradation.
